— How would you describe Mykonos Villa in a nutshell?

Quentin: “The villa is a luxurious vacation home on Mykonos, one of the Cycladic Islands in Greece. It has 4 bedrooms for up to 8 guests and offers all the amenities of a boutique hotel.

We were able to create something that seamlessly mixes contemporary design with a traditional Greek ambience. The villa is modern in terms of equipment and furnishings yet the style is Greek with white walls, gray accentuating pieces and marble floors. Rock walls, wooden furniture and a subdued color palette create a sense of warmth amidst the whitewashed structure.”

— Please describe the layout of the villa.

Quentin: “The house has 4 double bedrooms. Common areas include an indoor lounge, with a TV and stereo system, a large living room and a fully equipped kitchen. There are two dining tables for up to 12 people that are inside and outside on the terrace.

The villa has a beautiful 120 square meter terrace with the best view of the island at full sunset. There is also a nice marble pool and a garden-like area with plants and flowers, as well as a lounge area outside. We really wanted the property to have many different places to relax at.

The design of the house and all its interiors beautifully reflect the radiant sea views. The villa is the perfect place to take in the brilliance of this location, lean back and relax.

For guests who bring a car we have a garage that has space for up to 3 cars and scooters. The villa was newly built and opened in the Fall of 2016.”

— Please tell us about the rooms.

Quentin: “All of the four double bedrooms are accessible from the indoor lounge. There are three corridors, two that lead to an en-suite bedroom each; one of those rooms has a view of the back of the house. The third corridor goes to another two bedrooms that also have their own private bathrooms. One of these has access to the private terrace, and the other has access to the back of the house.

All bedrooms have satellite TV, great Wi-Fi, and a safe to store personal belongings. The bathrooms are equipped with sound systems and feature Italian showers with marble tiling.

Everything at the villa is of a very high quality but with a homey feel. Inside the house, it is very cozy and invites you to relax. There are books and personal things, accessories and the like to make you feel at home away from home.”

— Who should stay at Mykonos Villa and who should rather book something else?

Quentin: “Mykonos Villa is great for couples, groups of friends, as well as families — the villa is perfectly safe for children. All of the four bedrooms are totally independent which allows guests to live in their separate spaces, yet come together in the common areas. The house is not ideal, however, for individual guests who want to use it as a base for partying. Instead it is much better suited for people who choose it for the style and want a home away from home on their vacation.”

— Please tell us about the food.

Quentin: “The villa rental is fully equipped so that guests can easily prepare their own meals in the kitchen and enjoy them on the terrace. The closest shops are a ten-minute drive from the house, and if requested, we can arrange for all grocery shopping to be done and have it delivered to the villa.

We also have the option for guests to hire a personal chef to prepare breakfast and other meals. We do provide a guide for our guests that lists our recommendations of restaurants, things to do and see on the island, what beaches to visit and so on. Also, our concierge can give recommendations for restaurants in the area and take care of the reservations.”

— Please tell us about other facilities and services offered.

Quentin: “The entire house is set up with air conditioning and heating. And we have great Wi-Fi all around the house, a BOSE sound system and international TV channels. All lighting is all controlled with dimmers, enabling guests to create the ambience they want.

The house is controlled by an alarm system and we do have staff available onsite who takes care of the maintenance of the house and handles any technical problems. Our house manager acts as a concierge and takes care of the guests, to make sure all their needs are met. She can organize food shopping, reservations, and make recommendations for things to see and do. There’s also a cleaning team who visits two times a week to change all the sheets and clean the house. If the guests want something done daily, we can arrange that as well.”
