How would you describe Villa Pericos in a nutshell

Villa Pericos is a tropical vacation villa in Sayulita on the Mexican Riviera, one of the most charming corners of Mexico. It has magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean and a fresh design that combines Mexican colors and design with modern architecture and a touch of urban cool.

How would you describe the atmosphere at Villa Pericos?

We used exposed concrete combined with local woods and materials as well as steel windows to create a breezy, open feel that takes in nature all around. The atmosphere is very relaxed and comfortable but with lots of unusual surprises and design touches.

Please tell us about the food.

Sayulita has a terrific food scene and is known for both the quality of its many restaurants as well its wonderful street food. At the house we have a local cook who can prepare any delicious meal the guests desire.

To you personally, what is so special about Villa Pericos?

The villa is a very intriguing blend of local color, textiles and artifacts. Combined with modern design and a hip urban element it becomes an extremely serene and beautiful place to relax among lush tropical vegetation.

Villa Pericos rooms & rates

Villa Pericos has 5 bedrooms, all with private en-suite baths and private terraces or patios with views of the ocean. All bedrooms are very spacious and comfortable with king size beds, ceiling fans, closets, and safes.

The living area and kitchen are very open and connected to nature and to the pool and pool patio. They are generous in size and designed with beautiful tactile materials. The pool is completely clad in glass mosaics and has 3 waterfalls that are old stone gutters coming down from a tridimensional tiled wall. The garden, pool and house are totally private.

All 5 bedrooms have king size beds, ceiling fans, plenty of closet space, private en-suite bathrooms, private terraces or patios for lounging as well as indoor sitting areas and safes. The living space and kitchen area are partly open and fully connected to the garden and the patios, visually and functionally.

The closest beach is the main beach in Sayulita which is only a 4 minute walk from the house. Our favorite beaches are Carricito beach and Malpaso beach. They can be reached through a 20 minute walk through the jungle and are totally deserted paradises!

The location of Villa Pericos

The house is located in the town of Sayulita, Mexico, a short walk from the center of town and the beach. It is located up high on a verdant hill with lush tropical vegetation all around which provides great views of the ocean. The closest Airport is Puerto Vallarta with many non-stop flights from major American cities.

I really like the easy-go-lucky approach of its inhabitant, the restaurant and street food scene, the surfing beaches, the great mix of population made up of local Mexican people, ex-pats, European hipsters and the local Huichol culture.

When is the best time to visit Mexican Riviera?

All year round but October through May are best.
