Casa Carvalhal centres around a well-equipped kitchen and a calming living space that has been designed with a whitewashed, minimalist aesthetic. The high ceilings and huge windows allow natural light to pour in and there’s a cosy fireplace to keep guests warm in the winter months. Colourful pillows and rugs add texture to the living room and there are plenty of sofas and armchairs where you can relax with a good book.

In addition to the indoor dining space, there’s a large table overlooking the pool where you can dine alfresco. The sun loungers invite guests to soak up the rays and there are plenty of large pillows to sink into after a swim. Surrounding the property is a meticulously manicured garden.

Among the four bedrooms is a triple bunk room that’s ideal for kids. Some of the bedrooms have private terraces and there are five bathrooms in total. All of the bedrooms are decorated in neutral tones to create a calming atmosphere, with splashes of colour from throws and artworks.

Casa Carvalhal’s sparkling swimming pool is set against a gorgeous garden, with views across the native vegetation beyond. There are plenty of outdoor seating areas to relax in, as well as a well-appointed gym. Bicycles are available for guests to use while a high chair and cot can be provided for a small surcharge.
