Offering endless views across the hills of Melides, Casa da Cobra is a contemporary sanctuary immersed in nature. It can accommodate up to 10 guests across its 490-square-metre footprint, with light-filled living spaces and five bedrooms.
At the heart of Casa da Cobra is an expansive living space with floor-to-ceiling windows for soaking up the views. In addition to a lounge with comfortable sofas and a hanging fireplace, there’s a large dining table and a minimalist-style kitchen with a breakfast bar.
On one side of the living area is an alfresco dining patio while on the other, a terrace offers plenty of opportunities for quiet contemplation. Steps lead down from here to the infinity swimming pool, which is framed by sun loungers.
In the sleeping wing, you’ll find the master bedroom with a king-size bed and ensuite bathroom, plus two ensuite bedrooms with queen-size beds. Additionally, there are two rooms with twin beds that are ideal for kids.
OVERVIEW
Bedding and towels are provided for guests and changed once a week while cleaning is available on request. In addition to complimentary Wi-Fi, there is a satellite TV, a washing machine and a dryer.
In the fully-equipped kitchen, guests will find everything they need to prepare meals, as well as a coffee machine and a juicer. Outside is a barbecue and a large table for dining alfresco in the evenings.
Baby high chairs and cribs are available for a surcharge.
The pool is a saltwater pool with 12m x 3.5m.
The property does not have air-conditioning but a radiant floor in the entire house for both hot and cold weather.
Casa da Cobra is around 10 minutes’ drive from both Melides and Grândola where you’ll find supermarkets and restaurants. The closest restaurant is just one kilometre away. Praia de Melides is around 15 minutes’ drive from the property and the nearest golf course is 20 minutes away. Lisbon and Humberto Delgado Airport are 1.5 hours by car.
