Originally built as a fisherman’s house, Casa da Praia lies in a sought-after part of Comporta. It’s framed by emerald rice fields on one side and the deep blue waters of the Atlantic on the other. With a magnificent sandy beach just three minutes away on foot, it epitomises coastal living.
Casa da Praia consists of a main house and a second-floor apartment, which is ideal for teenagers or a nanny.
The main house features three bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite bathroom, plus an additional bathroom that is shared between the other two bedrooms. At the heart of the property is an open-plan living area, with a fully equipped kitchen and a dining table that can seat eight people. Adjacent is a terrace with a 10-seater dining table, a small pool and an outdoor shower, plus a parking space for one vehicle.
An external staircase leads to the second-floor apartment, which also has an open-plan layout. In addition to the sleeping area, kitchen and lounge, there’s a bathroom and a rooftop terrace.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a coffee machine, a dishwasher and a fridge/freezer, as well as cookware and everything you need to prepare meals. There is wireless internet throughout the property and it is air-conditioned. In the wintertime, guests can use the indoor fireplace and radiators to keep the house warm.
Towels and bedsheets are included in the rates and cleaning can be provided on request. A high chair and baby crib are available for families travelling with young children.
