The idea was to create a hub for exploring the region — its countryside and its historical landmarks — and to feel the impact of World War II, then recover nestled in a calm and serene location.

What I particularly love about this part of Normandy is its blend of natural beauty and historical significance. The rolling countryside, dotted with quaint villages and expansive fields, provides a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life.

Additionally, the area's rich history, from medieval times to World War II, offers endless opportunities for exploration and learning. The local cuisine, with its fresh seafood, dairy products and apples, is another highlight that adds to the charm of this region.
