Onar Andros
Located in one of the few remaining unspoiled places of Greece, Onar Andros offers ten holiday cottages only steps away from the sandy beaches of the small island of Andros.
We discovered Paros in 2010 and fell in love with its peacefulness and the kindness and generosity of the Greek people.
Paros Villa
You’ll love the panoramic rooftop vistas of the Aegean Sea, the valley and the surrounding mountains.
The villa is perfect for food-lovers who will enjoy having the kitchen at the centre of the house.
Paros Villa is in one of the island’s best spots from where you can discover a new beach everyday.
The house's caretaker, Anna, knows where to get the best local specialties. Go ahead, ask her!
Daily flights from Athens and ferries from Athens, Mykonos and Santorini will take you to Paros.
How would you describe Paros Villa in a nutshell?
Paros Villa is a cosy, minimalist Cycladic vacation home rental on the island of Paros, Greece. It has great panoramic views over the sea, the surrounding mountains and Antiparos in the distance. A treat for the soul!
The house is located on a big plot of 4000 sqm. It has an outside terrace of 300 sqm mostly surrounding an open pool area with a giant lounge and a 100 year old olive tree. There is a huge terrace on the rooftop to contemplate the view over the sea, the valley, the mountains, the island of Antiparos, and of course the stars at night!
The rental has 3 bedrooms with a vast open kitchen, dining and living room. The house has been designed in a way that each guest has plenty of privacy, so each bedroom has its own en-suite bathroom. And for even more privacy, we have added a separate guesthouse. In order to prevent any jealousy amongst family members, all the bedrooms are roughly the same size. We also believe that on vacation one deserves to have a great night’s sleep, so all the bedrooms are furnished with Greek Coco-Mat luxury mattresses.
The house has a real Greek Cycladic feel to it, with pure simple lines. But we also wanted the house to be super cozy, practical, welcoming, enjoyable, and comfortable, so we have hand-picked a selection of elegant vintage furniture from the 20th century from flea markets in Paris and Athens, and our favorite second hand shop in Paros.
This house is very much a summary of what we like, how we live and who we are. Epicureans! Food is super important in our lives, so the kitchen is right in the middle of the main room. As film aficionados, we have equipped our living room with a video projector, and as a music composer and music lovers, we have a cool HiFi sound system with vintage speakers from the 70s.
This house is for people who very much appreciate not only the exterior beauty of the surroundings, like the mountains, the views and nature all around, but also the chic Bohemian interior design.
Anna, the lady who takes care of the house is a local farmer who lives nearby, so we sometimes order a basket of selected fresh products from her - local goat’s cheese, honey, olive oil, eggs, fruits. The best is when it’s time to press the olives in November and we go to her to buy the local, super green olive oil that we like so much.
Upon arrival, Anna will greet you at the port or the airport and drive you to the house. She will then show you the property and welcome you with a basket of Greek products and show you our guest book with practical information and recommendations for restaurants and beaches. If needed, we can help with your car rental too, as on Paros you need a car or a motorcycle to explore the beaches and the main villages. We can also organize our cab driver in Athens to pick you up for your plane or ferry transfers.
A cleaning lady comes twice a week and changes the bed sheets once a week. The pool is cleaned twice a week as well. It’s our goal to make our guests feel at home and we are as available as possible through phone or email as well.
Kite surfing is pretty big in Paros, people come form all over the world as it can be pretty windy, without being overly windy... It also has great old churches and a monastery.
Otherwise there are so many activities available: Swimming, hiking, snorkeling, biking, wind surfing, boat tours as well as shopping in Parikia or Noussa.
We discovered Paros in 2010 and fell in love with its peacefulness, nature, and the immense kindness and generosity of the Greek people. The villa is very close to the fishing village of Aliki with the best bakery and the best butcher of the island as well as fine traditional taverns. The house is part of the Kamari settlement, in the southern part of Paros. We very much like this area as it’s a mix of typical Cycladic island feeling and the charming Greek countryside. When we visited the plot, the first time, we had a feeling of being in Tuscany and Greece at the same time. The house is 5 mins away from Farangas Bay and the village of Aliki and its beaches. It’s really one of our favorite spots on the island.
The house has been designed to be enjoyed during summer, but of course also from April to October. Easter is a must-see on Paros! The island turns green with blooming flowers everywhere and the Orthodox Easter celebrations are the most important holidays for the Greeks. In May and June, the island is peaceful; it’s warm and calm. It’s like summer without tourists! The locals say September is best. We have celebrated New Year’s here last year and even if it snowed, the house was comfortable and it felt like a retreat away from our crazy city lives.
