The Jazz
The Jazz is a music-inspired villa in the green valley of La Fustera, with Mediterranean views, artisanal interiors, and a rooftop terrace offering panoramic sea and valley vistas.
A saxophone in the dining room, a piano at the heart of the suite, and a vintage vinyl player set the tone for a stay full of creativity and spontaneity.
La Fustera Beach is just an eight-minute walk, and the scenic coastal trail to Calpe begins right at the shore.
The pool is not fenced and the property has multiple levels and steps, so extra caution is needed when travelling with young children.
Pool heating is available on request for an additional fee of €25 per day.
How would you describe The Jazz in a nutshell?
The Jazz is a home for friends, family, and anyone who loves design, music, and creativity. It balances lively shared spaces with private corners, offering room to connect, play, or unwind. Every detail — from artisanal furniture to musical touches — creates a warm, inspiring, and personal environment to enjoy together or alone.
What is the story behind The Jazz, what was your inspiration to create it?
The Jazz began as a love letter to music and its way of life. Jazz is about improvisation, spontaneity, and soulfulness, and we wanted a home that mirrored that philosophy. A saxophone in the dining room, a piano at the heart of the suite, and a vintage vinyl player invite guests to play and explore. Every design choice — wooden beams, handmade loungers, natural linens, and warm textures — was made to create a place where people can connect, get inspired, and create their best moments with the people they love.
How would you describe the atmosphere and the interior design of The Jazz?
The atmosphere of The Jazz is relaxed yet refined. Interiors combine natural textures — wood, linen, and betoncire — with artisanal furniture and curated pieces from Eichholtz, Nuura, Ferm Living, HK Living, DBodhi, and Bolia. Sunlight pours through large windows, illuminating handmade details and cozy corners perfect for lingering. Every room feels lived-in, inviting, and full of character. The villa encourages discovery, playful moments, and the soulful, improvisational spirit of jazz.
A note for families traveling with children
Children are more than welcome at The Jazz! That said, we always advise parents to keep a close eye on little ones, as there are a few things to be mindful of: the pool is not fenced, and the property has different levels and steps, making it a bit adventurous for younger kids. If you’re traveling with children, we recommend taking extra precautions to ensure a fun and safe stay.

Other amenities include:
The closest beach, La Fustera, is just an eight-minute walk from the villa. It’s small and cozy, with clear water and a laid-back vibe, making it our personal favorite — especially in the mornings when it’s still quiet, and you can have the place almost to yourself. The area is full of hidden bays to discover, such as Cala Pinets, Cala de la Llobella, and Cala Advocat, which remain peaceful even in the middle of summer.
Other highlights include Montesanco Wine Bar & Winery, where guests can enjoy relaxed wine tastings in a beautiful setting; boat or kayak rentals along the coast to explore hidden beaches and sea caves; and the coastal walk from La Fustera to Calpe, which offers breathtaking cliffside views and is a perfect way to start the day.
From The Jazz, the coastline is yours to explore. The Paseo Ecológico begins right at La Fustera, a scenic trail winding along the sea cliffs all the way to Calpe, with endless Mediterranean views at every step. Just ten minutes away, Moraira charms with its vibrant town center and the picturesque bay of El Portet — perfect for a swim in calm waters. A little further, Cala de Moraig reveals itself as a hidden paradise, where cliffs meet the crystal-clear sea. For a slower pace, wander through the cobbled streets of old town Altea, one of the region’s gems. Whitewashed houses, tiny cafés, and the iconic blue-domed church set the scene for an afternoon that feels timeless.
The Jazz is nestled in the green valley of La Fustera, a peaceful hideaway with sweeping views of both the sea and the rolling hills. La Fustera Beach is only an eight-minute walk away — perfect for an early swim or a sunset stroll along the shore. The lively town of Moraira, with its boutique shops and excellent restaurants, is just ten minutes by car, while Valencia and Alicante are within an hour’s drive for a dose of city life, history, and culture. Closer to home, Altea enchants with whitewashed streets and hidden courtyards that beg to be explored.
Dining is never far away either: the new Italian restaurant Farini is just a five-minute walk from the villa — think lovely interiors, good food, and the kindest staff. A supermarket is only four minutes away, as is the local bakery, making it easy to stock up on fresh ingredients for a poolside BBQ or a relaxed dinner at home. Mandala Beach Bar, located right on the sand of La Fustera Beach, is another favorite spot for laid-back dining with a view.
There is never a wrong time to experience The Jazz — each season carries its own rhythm. Winters are mild and cozy, with golden sunsets and evenings best spent by the piano. Spring and autumn bring warmth and blooming landscapes, perfect for outdoor dining or lounging by the pool. Summer is pure Mediterranean energy, with long sunlit days, music drifting through open windows, and nights made for gathering together. Whatever the season, The Jazz offers a setting full of soul and possibility.
