Villa Gilda

The hotel sits on 8.000 square meters of land with olive groves, citrus trees and spectacular views of the Apuanian Alps as well as the famed beaches of Tuscany and the Mediterranean Sea. Guests have access to the heated pool, can relax on the sun loungers or take a stroll around the garden. The seven suites have different sizes, and some come with a private terrace, scenic views over the sea or direct access to the gardens.

On the ground floor are the common areas for guests to enjoy with a lounge, living room, dining room, and the kitchen that can be reserved upon request. For breakfast, we put all the tables outside in the summer so guests can take in the view. Villa Gilda also has a sauna and swimming pool. A fitness center and spa with sea views will be coming soon.

The rooms at Villa Gilda are some of the nicest in all of Forte dei Marmi. With parquet floors, marble in the bathrooms and a unique design for each suite. There are seven rooms, two of them can be combined into one big suite for a family. The room sizes range from 24 to 65 square meters. Four of the rooms are on the first and two on the second floor. Almost all rooms have a sea view, four have their own private terrace, access to the garden and doors leading to the swimming pool and sauna. The bathrooms have large rain showers and there are even two suites with fireplaces.

Besides the beautiful outdoor pool with a sun terrace there is also a sauna. Massages can be organized, as well as beauty consultations. Bicycles are available for our guests to use for easy transport to the beach club and back as parking can be expensive and hard to find in Forte dei Marmi. We also offer a free shuttle service. Signora Gigliola prepares our daily breakfast buffet, which is available up until noon. With an extensive selection of freshly baked cakes, homemade jams, fresh fruits and local produce your days will start off just right.

Upon request we can offer a private lunch and dinner with dishes typical for Tuscany to be served at the hotel. However, especially during summer months, most of our guests go to our restaurant at the beach club, which is one of the best restaurants in Forte dei Marmi. The beach club is only 5 kilometers away from the hotel.

There is plenty to do. If guests want to be active they can go hiking, free climbing and of course go swimming or wind surfing. The beaches here are extraordinary. I’ve been to Florida and other beaches around the world, but I couldn’t find a beach like the one in Forte dei Marmi.

I would also recommend visiting our beach club, which is truly a unique experience. It’s a paid beach club, but the service and the atmosphere are absolutely worth it. Guests have their own tent, table, towels, and pillows and can also receive massages on the beach. The beach club is not included in the hotel rate but we can offer a discount for Welcome Beyond guests. In July and August it is normally EUR 100 per day, but we can offer a 50% discount, and between in April, May, June, September and October we can include it in the rate for guests from Welcome Beyond.
