How would you describe Imerovigli Villa in a nutshell?

On the Greek island of Santorini you'll find Imerovigli Villa, a villa rental that exudes pure luxury, delicate and almost out of this world. Please tell us a bit about the history of Imerovigli Villa.

Imerovigli Villa is a Patrician mansion built by Greeks from Egypt in the 1850’s. It was abandoned for almost 50 years after the major earthquake in 1956 until we bought it some 5 years ago. We have since then undertaken a major refurbishment which was completed two years ago.

How would you describe the architecture and style of the holiday rental?

The design of the villa is minimalist and in this sense inspired by the Scandinavian architectural tradition. The original and typical Santorinian architecture has however been rigorously respected and the villa therefore represents a blend of both these traditions.

To you personally, what is so special about this villa rental?

What is really special about this holiday villa is that it is so beautiful, traditional but also very comfortable. And also obviously, the fantastic locations with marvelous views and serene tranquillity.

What do you particular like about Santorini?

We adore the scenery, the serenity but also the hospitality of the locals and the traditional Greek way of life.

How would you like your holiday guests to remember their stay?

As a memory for life exceeding their high expectations and with a strong desire to return as quickly and as often as possible.
